Alternate Risk Modelling:
About the Role: In this role, you will spearhead the Alternate Risk Modelling team’s efforts to harness consumer data from diverse sources to refine credit analytics. You’ll be the key driver in integrating alternative data streams into actionable credit risk models, positioning the company at the forefront of innovative risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Roadmap: Execute a product roadmap that leverages alternative consumer expense data to evaluate credit repayment capabilities that aligns with business growth and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Departmental Leadership: Collaborate with data science, technology, and business teams to design and refine risk models. Ensure seamless integration of alternate sources of data into our analytics platform.
- Market & User Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand emerging trends in alternative data utilization. Gather insights from both internal stakeholders and external users to continually refine product offerings.
- Performance Metrics & Optimization: Establish KPIs to monitor product performance. Use data analytics to iterate on risk modelling strategies and optimize product functionalities for better credit risk assessment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and executive management. Clearly communicate product progress, challenges, and insights to ensure informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field is a good to have.
- 2+ years of product management experience, with a strong preference for experience in financial services, underwriting and credit analysis, risk analytics, or alternative data platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with alternative data sources to drive product innovation.
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting complex datasets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
